Grillz, Made to Measure in Bali
Most grillz are sold off a size chart. Ours begin with a scan of your teeth. A fitted piece is a different object — and we build it at a lab in Canggu.
Grillz carry a reputation they didn't entirely earn. For most of their history they've been sold the way you'd buy a ring off a chart — name a size, pour the gold, hope it seats. What you get back is the thing people quietly complain about: a slab that clicks against enamel, traps saliva, and comes out at the end of the night.
The problem was never the gold
A grill sits against living anatomy. No two arches are the same, and half a millimetre of slack is the whole difference between a piece you forget you're wearing and one you can't wait to remove. Cast to an average and you get an average — a unit that looks right in a photo and feels wrong in the mouth.
The metal is the easy part. The fit is the entire job.
That's the gap we built the lab to close. We treat a grill as fitted hardware, not an accessory: it's engineered against your specific dentition and held to the same sub-25-micron tolerance as everything else that leaves the bench.
What “made to measure” actually means
It starts with an intraoral scan — a digital capture of your teeth, no moulding putty. From that scan we design the piece in CAD, cast it, and finish it by hand. Four phases: scan, design, manufacture, finish. The geometry comes from you; the gold just follows it.
Why Bali
Bali draws a clientele from everywhere, and for years a properly fitted grill meant flying somewhere else to get one. Building the full pipeline — scanner, CAD, casting, finishing — under one roof in Canggu closed that trip to a single appointment. If you can't make it to the island, the same commission runs remotely and ships worldwide.
Gold or silver, plain or stone-set, a single tooth or a full arch — the constraint isn't the catalogue, it's the fit. Book a scan at the lab, or start a remote commission and we'll take it from there.
